Looking through census data is not the most fun way to spend a weekend, but I was just really curious about baby names so I took the leap. By recording the most popular names by decade for both girls and boys in the United States it became easy to identify patterns and trends throughout the country and find your own name or discover what topped the list that decade. The circular design creates unity and simplicity in a field of chaos but can still be appreciated for it’s delicate line work from distance and afar.
