BRANDING & EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN for

HEADLANDS COASTAL LODGE

A luxury coastal lodge perched on the edge of the Oregon Coast needing to identify, design, source and execute branding and communication elements immersed into the overall environment, guest experience and touch points to authentically create a unique, and notable getaway.

  • I build the brand and designed all of the on-site materials, environmental design elements and guest-experience touchpoints to help ensure the lodge's design matched its beautiful coastal surroundings from ideation to printing, production, sourcing and bringing it all to life. With every path you take through the lodge, we wanted to have special moments for the guest to experience Headland’s voice and brand. The tagline of “Head out. Stay in.” became our clear guide to the creation, embracing natural elements and color palettes and making sure to invite the guest into each new space to discover details at their own pace. From an elaborate, metal-flocked front desk design to custom bike license plates and hallway wallpaper featuring inspiration behind the logo and even the custom Pendleton collaboration blanket, I wanted to be clear that my design work for Headlands was created with every detail in mind.
