OPEN NEST RENTALS

This tired brand needed a new name and fresh look to spark new life. I dove in with customer analysis, competitor review and industry insights to identify and create the perfect new name–Open Nest Rentals. I then provided art direction to create an approachable visual and tone and all the physical and digital assets needed to enhance the guest experience and build trust with visitors and homeowners alike.

  • Previously known as Shorepine Vacation Rentals, this 20-year-old brand needed a facelift and rebrand for its outdated look and business plan. We worked with Open Nest Vacation Rentals team to rethink their strategy and developed a brand position, values, and pillars, along with numerous sessions to concept a new name and direction. With a need to gain trust with these homeowners, we dove into audience analysis on both the homeowner and renter side, landing on one thing they had in common, “everyone deserves a place at the beach.” With these coastal homeowners opening their doors for visitors to settle in, we realized these empty nesters needed to be reminded of why they open their doors in the first place, to share their love of the beach, and Open Nest was born. Next came the task of developing a robust website to showcase their brand and house 50+ properties along with friendly and informative printed, digital and environmental materials to enhance the guest experience and even a new office design to match this new direction.
